Events logistics is cited by the Urban Development Corporation of Trinidad and Tobago for the rescheduling of the date for the ceremonial opening of the Point Fortin Fire Station.
The station was initially scheduled to be opened on Tuesday.
Officers have begun moving in at the new site and are ready for duty.
However, the Minister of National Security, Fitzgerald Hinds, informed the Senate, Udecott informed him of an adjustment to the station’s opening and he complied with the information received.
Udecott said the station will be opened at a short new date and service to the borough remains intact and available to the public.
