TTPS Operation Blue Line, seized marijuana worth over $100,000, a firearm and ammunition

The Trinidad and Tobago police service seized marijuana with an estimated street value of over $100,000, a firearm and ammunition on 1st December, 2023.

Operation Blue Line Exercise in the western division was conducted between the hours of 10 am and 3 pm on Friday 1st December, 2023. Police said based on intelligence information, the team went to a track between Sargangar Trace and Davidson Drive, La Puerta Diego Martin and conducted a search of an abandoned structure and found and seized a quantity of marijuana, one extended magazine and 11 rounds of 5.56 ammunition and 11 rounds of 9mm ammunition. The marijuana weighed a total of 5244 grams.

This exercise was sanctioned by ACP Maharaj, coordinated by Snr Supt. Henry and ASP Lynch and supervised by Cpls Dominique and Edwards. PC Figueria is continuing enquiries.
