Trinidad and Tobago claimed a thrilling 9-0 victory over Barbados in the Courts Caribbean Classic opener at the Hasely Crawford Stadium on Friday night.
T&T and AEK Athens winger Levi Garcia was the shining start of the evening, scoring first-half goals in the 27th, 35th, and 40th minutes.
Ryan Telfer joined the action in the 29th minute and then added again to the scores in the 1-hour mark.
In the 68th and 78th minute, Nicholas Dillon made his contributions while Reon Moore and midfielder John Paul Rochford ended the scoring in the 80th and 83rd minutes, respectively.
Guyana will play its first match of the tri-nation series against Barbados on Sunday at the Hasely Crawford Stadium, from 7 pm.
