T&T Spirit to set sail in two weeks

The Management of the Trinidad and Tobago Inter-Island Transportation (TTIT) Company Limited says it expect the T&T Spirit to return to service within 2 weeks.

The TTIT said that the T&T Spirit proceeded to the dockyard at CARIDOC, Chaguaramas on November 20th and was scheduled to return to service on 5th December, 2019. However, the vessel’s expected return to service could not be accomplished due to unexpected electrical works.

But they have received confirmation that the required spares will arrive this week and once sea trials and other testing for necessary certifications are successfully completed, the vessel’s return to service to be within 2 weeks.

In its absence, the Jean De La Valette (JDLV) and the Galleons Passage will continue to service the inter-island sea bridge as follows:
