Despite 61 runs from Trinidad and Tobago and West Indies player, Nicolas Pooran, for Lucknow Super Giants in the Indian Premier League his side lost by 19 runs to Delhi Capitals on Tuesday.
Replying to 208 for 4 made by Capitals in which two batsmen made half centuries, Super Giants had to settle for 189 for 4 from 20 overs.
Pooran’s innings came off 27 balls.
It included six fours and four sixes.
Ashshad Khan was the only other batsman who offered some form of resistance making 58 not out in the lower order for Super Giants.
Earlier and batting first Capitals got 58 and 57 runs from Abishek Porel and Tristan Stubbs respectively.
