There is the suggestion an audit be done into the 17.5 million dollars which was allocated for Carnival in Tobago.
It comes from Head of the Tobago Chamber of Commerce, Diane Hadad.
Speaking during an interview on the Afternoon Power Drive Programme on Power 102 Digital, Wednesday, Ms Hada said it will be good for the country to get a break down of the spending.
The view is the audit will ensure transparency and accountability.
