THA Minority Leader concerned oil spill is affecting schools on the sister isle

Concerns are being raised about contingency plans for students attending the Scarborough Secondary and Lambeau Primary School following the oil spill in Tobago according to the Minority Leader in the Tobago House of Assembly, Kelvon Morris.

He said both schools have remained closed following the development.

During an interview on Wednesday, Morris expressed concerns about what he claimed was the need for adequate contingency measures to treat with standard four students at Lambeau Anglican who are getting ready for the Secondary Entrance Assessment in terms of learning material.

He said the standard five students are reporting to the Tobago Information Center.

He said a plan to continue the education of students at Scarborough Secondary via doing work online has not materialised.
