The Trinidad and Tobago Solid Waste Management Company Limited (SWMCOL), has advised that another fire is burning at the Beetham landfill.
SWMCOL, in a release, said initial investigations revealed that the fire is located at the active tipping area which will result in some delay to the company’s operations today.
They warned those with health conditions to take precautions because of smoke in the area.
