Swift work by police lead to arrest of bandit

Quick response from officers of the Western Division Emergency Response Patrol aided in the capture of a bandit who tried to rob a store in Diego Martin.

Reports indicate that two men entered the business place of the man located on St. Lucien’s Road, and attempted to rob him around 1:15p.m. on Monday.

After the man raised an alarm, the bandits fled the scene. But officers who responded to the shop keeper’s cries captured one of the bandits, a 32-year-old man from Mausica.

He is currently in police custody and is assisting with investigations.
