Suriname will be allocating lands which can be used for agriculture production.
The country is inviting the private sector to be a part of the process.
President of Suriname, Chandrikapersad Santokhi, made the disclosure during the Agri Investment Forum and Expo, held at the National Academy For the Performing Arts in Port of Spain on Friday.
President Santokhi said Suriname has decided to earmark land which will be targeted for food production and the private sector is encouraged to come on board.
