Miami Sector Chief Patrol Agent Walter N Slosar Tweeted on Friday December 9th that Miami Border Patrol agents & LE partners responded to a maritime smuggling event.
The investigation landed the agents to encounter 13 migrants of mixed nationalities from Romania, Haiti and Trinidad & Tobago.
The next day Border Patrol in Miami, FL sector report that they responded to 16 separate migrant landings in a two day period.

The total number of migrants held amounted to 263 people, including one incident involving 113 Haitians who landed in Key Lago.
