The son of a senior police officer was shot and killed in Carenage on Thursday night.
Around 9:30pm, 27-year-old Kwesi Brown, the son of ASP Brown, who is assigned to the Western Division, was liming with relatives near his home at Rodney Street, Point Cumana, Carenage, when several loud explosions were heard.
The group ran in different directions and Kwesi stumbled into his grandmother’s home with gunshot injuries about the body.
The police were notified and PC Emmanuel and PC Sorzano responded and took the young man to the St. James Medical Facility where he was declared dead around 9:50 pm.
Investigations are underway.
