NGO, Silverspoon Foundation, donates one hundred hampers which will go towards many individuals and families who are experiencing various levels of hardship during the Christmas season.
Fifty of the hampers included food items and the other fifty hampers included feminine care products.
Aimed at developing strong, healthy and productive individuals in society, Silverspoon Foundation functions as a support organization for positive change.
The NGO teaches courses on social issues and health issues, and provides psychosocial support and counselling to families in need.
Minister of Social Development and Family Services, Donna Cox, received this donation on December 19th at the Ministry’s St. Vincent Street Head Office from the Director of Silverspoon Foundation, Wazir Ali and Coordinator, Lisa Ramlogan-Ali.
