An employee of the San Fernando City Corporation, was gunned down in Marabella on Friday night.
The victim has been identified as 32-year-old Atiba Wildman.
Police said around 10:30 pm on Friday 20 May 2022,
Reports are that Wildman was liming with a group of people at Gandhi Street in Bayshore around 10:30pm when two gunmen walked up to them and began shooting.
Wildman was shot in the back and died at the San Fernando General.
A bullet also made its way into the home of a resident a short distance away.
The unidentified woman told police that she was awoken from her sleep by loud explosions, and then later realised that she had been shot in her leg.
The woman is now warded at hospital.
Police are investigating the matter.
