Accept the four percent wage offer from the Chief Personnel Officer; this is the demand being sent to the present leadership of the Public Services Association.
It is coming from former General Secretary of the PSA, Oral Saunders.
Today several members of the union assembled outside the Abercrombie Street, Port of Spain Head Office of the union to highlight their concern.
Speaking with the media this morning, Mr Saunders said the majority of trade unions have decided to accept the wage offer presented by the CPO and are preparing for the next bargaining period.
He appealed to the PSA President, Leroy Baptiste, to do the same.
Mr Saunders said due to the differences encountered in the deliberations between both sides the matter was taken to the Industrial Court by the CPO.
Police have blocked off access to Abercromby Street from Park Street while the protest continues.
