Royals To Come Up Against Tallawahs In CPL T20 Finals

It will be Barbados Royals against Jamaica Tallawahs in the finals of this year’s edition of the Caribbean Premier League T20 Tournament.

Tallawahs secured a place in the finals with a 37 run win against Guyana Amazon Warriors at the Guyana National Stadium, Providence on Wednesday night.

They finished last in the prestigious T20 tournament in 2021.

Batting first Sharmarh Brooks top scored with 109 not out.

His inning helped Tallawahs reach 226 for 4 off 20 overs.

Brooks dominated the bowling hitting 7 fours and 8 sixes.

In reply, Warriors apart from 56 runs from Keemo Paul, the rest of the bating failed to deliver with four other batsmen scoring over 20 runs.

Warriors reached 189 for 8 off 20 overs.

The finals will be played at the same venue on Friday at 7pm.
