SEA students will not return to classes as planned; virtual mode remains for Term III

The Education Ministry has announced that all primary and ECCE students will continue with online or package systems for their classes in Term III, which resumes next Monday, April 12th.

This means that Standard 5 students will not return to their physical classrooms as planned.

During the course of Term II, the MOE initiated plans to have all SEA students return to classes in preparation for the examination. But, due to the increase in Covid19 cases, it seems they have had to change this plan.

However, physical classes will resume for secondary schools, as students in Forms 4 to 6 will partake in a hybrid system of learning.

According to the Ministry, students will report to school for the completion of practicals, SBAs, internal assessments or where absolutely necessary.
Otherwise, their classes will be held online or via packages.

All other secondary school students will continue with full online and package systems.
