Rick Ramoutar has won the 2024 International Chutney Soca Monarch Competition and walked away with $400,000 cash prize by performing his popular hit “Luuuzzaarr.”
The final of the 2024 International Chutney Soca Monarch Competition was held at Skinner Park, San Fernando on Saturday night.
Defending Monarch Daddy Chinee took second place while Rawytee Ramroop placed third. Ramroop, the highest placing female, was also crowned Queen of Chutney Soca and won $100,000.
