A retired mason was kidnapped in Cunupia on Thursday night.
Sixty-eight year old Junior O’Connor was standing with a woman at Sampson Street, when a white four-door pickup stopped and a man exited and robbed the woman of her handbag.
The handbag contained her cellphone, bank cards and other documents.
When the woman ran away, the thief grabbed O’Connor and placed him in the backseat of the vehicle and drove off.
Up to this time he is yet to be found.
O’Connor is originally from Tobago but has been living in Sampson Street for the past 15 years in his father’s house.
