Media reports say Prime Minister, Dr Keith Rowley, placed eighth on the list of top ten Caribbean Global Leaders for 2024 as selected by the public.
Guyana’s President, Dr Irfaan Ali, was voted this year’s Caribbean Global Leader.
President Ali will receive the award on April 28 in London.
It explains the Caribbean Global Awards announced this year’s list of leaders, highlighting those who have shown exceptional dedication to their nations and the wider Caribbean community.
President Ali was the People’s Choice for best Caribbean leader, receiving the majority of 609 valid votes cast.
Second was Barbados Prime Minister Mia Mottley.
