Sports broadcaster, Anthony Harford has died

First Commercial Manager of the West Indies Cricket Team, Anthony Harford has passed away.

Harford managed and Marketed First ICC Under 15 Cricket World Championship in the Caribbean, he also Marketed and managed the Shell Caribbean cup, the first major regional football competition involving the English, Dutch, French and Spanish speaking Caribbean countries, 1989/91.

Harford also managed and marketed first Cricket event at Disney Wide world of sport in 1999, The West Indies Windball championships-707 participants from 8 countries.

Managed carifta Games Track and Field on three occasions, Managed the first ever Caribbean 7’s Soccer Championships.

He is also a former Television News/ Sport Anchor in Trinidad and Tobago.

According to reports Harford suffered with medical issues as it pertains to his kidneys.
