Over $120K worth of marijuana was seized and one man arrested by officers of the Southern Division whilst on Mobile Patrol on Friday.
Police reports indicate that around 4 am this morning Cpl Bahadur,PC Ramjattan and officers of the Southern Division Task Force conducted the exercise along Battoo Avenue Marabella.
The officers stopped and searched a motor vehicle which was driven by a 30-year-old man of Union Park East, Marabella and found therein a large black plastic bag which contained 25 transparent plastic packets each containing marijuana.
The suspect was arrested taken to the Marabella Police Station along with the illegal drugs. PC Ramjattan continuing enquiries.
