Minister of Public Administration and Digital Transformation, Allyson West, says the necessary ground work is being done by the state to ensure there is capacity when public procurement legislation is fully proclaimed.
Minister West gave this assurance during her contribution on the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Property Amendment Bill, 2020 in the Senate this afternoon.
Minister West revealed what is taking place as it relates to the training of staff members.
There is also a role for IGOVTT in the process, Minister West indicated.
