Opposition Senator claims gov’t systems around the Public Procurement bill will lead to corruption

Opposition Senator, Damian Lyder, during his input to the bill claimed the state is creating a parallel system that will lead to corruption as it will undermine the independent office of the Procurement Regulator.

Commenting on Clause 7 Two of the bill, Mr Lyder said there are elements which can lead to the down grading of Trinidad and Tobago.
