Priority Given To 130 Schools Listed For Vacation Period Repairs, Says Education Ministry

Over 370 schools have been listed for repairs during the August/September holiday period.

Out of this amount 130 of these have been prioritised for infrastructure work.

At present the Maintenance Training Security Company is spear heading as the project manager.

Acting Director of School Supervision and Management, Joy Griffith, provided the details at a news briefing held at the Ministry of Education on Monday.

Pluming, sewer and electrical are the areas where emphasis is being placed.

School will also be out fitted with furniture which will go to over 100 primary and secondary schools.
