The new Central Block of the Port-of-Spain General Hospital is on target to open in the first quarter of 2025.
In a release, the Urban Development Corporation (UDeCOTT) said it gave major stakeholders like Minister of Health Terrence Deyalsingh and officials from the NWRHA its first tour recently.
“From September to December 2024 Medical and Engineering Staff assigned to the New Central Block, will be undergoing rigorous training, in tandem with the testing and commissioning of Medical Equipment and Systems, all in time for the Hospital’s start-up of full operations, in First Quarter 2025,” the UDeCOTT statement read.
