Port Of Spain Man Arrested During Operation Strike Back.

A 37-year old man was arrested, for warehouse break-in and larceny during an Operation Strike Back exercise in Port of Spain, Wednesday.

Based on information received, officers of the St James Police Station proceeded to the Ambassador Hotel, Long Circular Road, St. James where the owner of the hotel reported he was securing his premises when he saw a man on the premises holding a grey speaker box and a lawn chair.

The owner also reported there was an air-conditioning unit on the ground, next to the suspect.

The owner said he recognized the items as belonging to his hotel.

The suspect of Cockerton Street, Port of Spain was subsequently arrested for the offence of warehouse break-in and larceny.

The exercise was coordinated by Acting Corporal Patino and included officers of the Special Patrol Unit and members of the Trinidad and Tobago Regiment.
