Port-of-Spain floods after a few minutes of rain

Port-of-Spain, South Quay floods just after a few minutes of rain; this after the country has been under a dry spell for a few days.

The MET office advised that citizens can expect to see the fair night with a gentle breeze and the chance of a brief shower.

Tomorrow: Mostly sunny morning but patches of cloudiness will begin to develop by midday producing light or moderate showers in varying areas.

There is a medium to high chance (50% – 80%) of an afternoon or early evening thunderstorm. Conditions will begin to become relatively settled during the evening into night.

Motorist are advised to be cautious when driving along South Quay, Port-of-Spain.
