Police say they’ve captured Heights of Guanapo shooting suspect

Police say they’ve captured three men, one of whom is implicated in the Heights of Guanapo massacre, in which four siblings were shot dead.

Police reports indicate that the three were arrested in a raid on an abandoned house in the Heights of Aripo at 3.30p.m Monday.

In custody are a 34 year old of Heights of Aripo, a 24 year old of Valentine Trace, Heights of Aripo, and a 21 year old from the same area.

The 34-year-old is suspected to be the man who led the killing of the siblings.

According to police they found an AK Assault rifle with magazine, a Beretta pistol with magazine and holster, 39 rounds of 7.62 ammo, 34 rounds of 9mm ammo, ten rounds of 5.56 ammo, and three cellular phones.

The suspects are at the Pinto Road Police Station.

Last week Thursday, three children and a 19-year-old in the crime hotspot of Heights of Guanapo.

They were killed in a gun attack on a house at La Retreat Extension, a massacre that also left five people wounded. Two of the injured are children.
