Police pleads with public to stop sharing graphic videos following fatal accident

On the heels of a gruesome road fatality which was shared on social media, the police service is now calling on the public to desist from sharing graphic video on social media.

Sixty-six year old Balraj Lutchman of Carlsen Field, was killed in a hit and run accident along the Uriah Butler Highway on Monday night.

The impact sent Lutchman’s body into the path of oncoming cars and he was run over several times.

Video footage of the incident was shared onto social media.

Investigations into this matter are ongoing and the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS) has extended condolences to Lutchman’s family.
