Police have revealed the identification of the body discovered in Canaan Tobago last week.
The decreased was identified by relatives as Rishi Renny Khodai, 39, formerly of Manuel Congo, Arima, with a most recent address of Arnos Vale Road, Plymouth.
According to the TTPS, an autopsy is to be performed to determine the cause of death.
Investigations by the Homicide Bureau, Tobago Division, are ongoing.
