Police association offers $20K reward for info on PC Harrinarine’s murder

The TT Police Service Social and Welfare Association (TTPSSWA) is offering a $20,000 reward for information on the murder of Police Constable Ravindra Harrinarine.

The Association said it is using some of its own funds for the reward.

They said Harrinarine was an excellent officer and a kind human being.

Fifteen spent shells were found on Bassie Street, St Augustine, following the murder of the officer.

Harrinarine, of Susconusco Road, Santa Cruz, was shot dead on Wednesday night while speaking with a woman whom he knew, in what investigators suspect was a robbery turned fatal.

He was attached to the Traffic and Highway Patrol Branch and recently had even been assigned as part of the detail for the Prime Minister’s escort.
