Supporters of the People’s National Movement are being urged not to take lightly Monday’s Local government election.
The advice comes from Prime Minister, Dr Keith Rowley.
Speaking at the PNM’s rally held at Constantine Park, Macoya on Saturday, the Prime Minister noted the importance of the elections and voting.
“Do not treat your contributions lightly.
Elections are important and elections matter.”
Dr Rowley described the campaign as long and rough and thanked all those who participated in the process.
The government’s bid to reform local government and make it more efficient and effective was also highlighted.
