The Peoples National Movement Women’s League says it remains steadfast in its commitment to fair governance and recognizes the critical role of the Ethics Council in upholding ethical behavior in politics.
However, it believes for the council to maintain its credibility, it must demonstrate transparency, fairness, and accountability in its decision-making processes.
PNM calls upon the Ethics Council for Political Behaviour to reassess its practices and ensure an unbiased approach in its dealings with all political parties.
The PNM says it stands firm in its principles of democracy, inclusivity, and respect for all citizens, and urge the council to do the same in fulfilling its duties.
