PM Rowley: Watson Duke is of no concern to me

Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley said in response to Watson Duke’s party launch and challenge to the PM that, Watson Duke is of no concern to him. The PM said “when a person is on a crime charge, they have no right to want to lead a country”. The PM also referenced Glen Ram who is Chairman of a Regional Corporation while on bail for bribery.

Dr. Rowley advised Tobagonians that a person on charges is not the best person any community can offer to lead your business. He spoke directly to young persons in Tobago saying “ that the very corrupt UNC has never really contested Tobago seats and have now found a proxy in Watson Duke who is now getting involved in National politics and talking Secession, and the only people who see secession as an option in our National politics is the UNC”. Dr. Rowley said that Watson Duke is prepared to advance the secession cause for the UNC for a fee.
