Maloney Gardens ‘limers’ arrested for breaching public health regs

Twenty-one people, aged between 18 and 37, were on Tuesday arrested while liming at a building in Maloney Gardens, in blatant breach of the current public health regulations.

All 21 – 19 males and 2 females, have been described by police as affiliates of the ‘Any Body can Get it’ (ABG) gang.

Police received reports of a gathering and loud music being played in the vicinity of Building 17 and on arrival, allegedly found the large group liming and gambling.

Officers also found that no one was wearing a face mask.

The 21 people were made to line up against the building’s wall with their hands up and feet spread apart as they were searched by police who were also accompanied by personnel from the T&T Defence Force.

They were questioned and subsequently taken to the Maloney Police Station.

Police said they will all be questioned further in relation to a recent spike in criminal activity and shootings in the area.
