The Prime Minister is distancing himself and the cabinet from the contentious indemnity issue with King’s Counsel and state witness Vincent Nelson.
Speaking at a political meeting of the People’s National Movement on Tuesday night, Prime Minister Rowley made it clear the development was never a matter for the cabinet.
However, Dr Rowley said an issue of this kind falls under the office of the Attorney General who is in a position to advise the cabinet.
