PM cautions against blame game over babies’ deaths at the POSGH

Prime Minister, Dr Keith Rowley, is urging the nation to await the outcome of the probe into the deaths of the eight premature babies at the Port of Spain General Hospital.

Dr Rowley said he and the rest of Trinidad and Tobago will like to get the facts surrounding the incidents.

He cautioned against the development being used to cast blame.

Dr Rowley made the remarks while speaking at the official opening of the Sangre-Grande Hospital Campus today.

The Prime Minister called for the process in place to be allowed to do its work and get the facts surrounding what happened.

He also commended the staff at the Eastern Regional Health Authority and other health facilities to set high standards and be professional in their duties.
