 Plummer’s farewell at Queen’s Hall on September 6

Former calypso monarch Denyse Plummer Boocock will have a farewell function on September 6th at the Queen’s Hall.

The former calypsonian and gospel singer died of cancer on August 27 at age 69.

According to a release from the Boocock family, there will be a prelude at 9 am followed by the service at 10 am at Queen’s Hall, St Ann’s and a private interment.

There will be guest parking at the Paddock, Queen’s Park Savannah from 8 am and a shuttle from the Paddock to Queen’s Hall from 8.15 am and from Queen’s Hall to The Paddock from 11.30am

A limited number of invitations will available to the public on a first come, first served basis at the Queen’s Hall box office from 10 am to 12.30 pm on September 4.

There will also be condolence books for the public at the Helen May Johnstone room at Queen’s Hall from 10 am to 2 pm on September 4 and 5.

A live broadcast of the service will be carried on TTT, and also broadcast on the television station’s social media channels.
