Five persons have been discharged and ten new COVID-19 cases have been recorded in Tobago in the last twenty four hours.
The Division of Health, Wellness and Family Development in the Tobago House of Assembly says this brings the total number of active COVID-19 cases on the island to seventy (70).
In its clinical update for Tobago the Division says the number of overall samples submitted to the Tobago Regional Health Authority and other local sites to test for COVID-19 is four thousand, eight hundred and forty seven.
It says the number of overall samples that tested positive for COVID-19 is two hundred and ninety-eight (98).
The Division says three persons have died from COVID-19 in Tobago.
