PDP Deputy Leader denies any alliance with UNC

“The PDP has no relationship with the UNC.”

So says deputy political leader of the Progressive Democratic Patriots (PDP), Farley Augustine.

His statement was in defence to claims by the PNM’s Tobago Council leader, Tracy Davidson-Celestine, that the PDP and UNC were aligned.

She claimed the PDP met with the UNC before the start of nomination for the upcoming THA election.

But, Augustine said Davidson-Celestine should not be concerned about the PDP’s affairs but should instead focus on providing answers about the zipline project that had been planned years ago for the Main Ridge Forest Reserve.
