Ten workers from Shell’s offshore facility Dolphin, have tested positive for Covid19 and are now in state quarantine.
According to a Newsday report, the Dolphin platform had 119 people on board and all have had Covid19 tests.
The report stated that Shell’s Covid19 medical response team immediately began carrying out all standard safety protocols for dealing with positive personnel and minimising the risk to others.
The workers were taken from the platform and transported to a Ministry of Health-approved location for quarantine and conducting contact tracing.
