One year to complete rate review on T&TEC

The Regulated Industries Commission awaits outstanding information from the Trinidad and Tobago Electricity Commission to start its rate review work.

Once this information is received it could take one year to complete the review process.

This is revealed by Chairman of the R.I.C., Dawn Callender. The senior R.I.C. official was speaking at the eighth meeting of the Joint
Select Committee on Land and Physical Infrastructure today.

The JSC inquired into the management of TATEC and related recommendations.

Meanwhile, General Manager at TATEC, Kelvin Ramsook, informed the JSC of the factors which contributed to the delay in the information being sent to the RIC.
