Keen negotiation skills by officers lead to the release of one man, and the capture of three suspects.
Around 12:05 this morning, three men entered a house at Savannah Drive, Arouca and robbed a man of a quantity of cash and valuables. Neighbours saw the commotion and called the police who responded to the scene of the crime.
The suspects saw the police and threatened the life of the victim, but the officers negotiated his release. They also persuaded the men to surrender. They suspects were arrested and taken into custody at the Arouca Police Station.
The suspects, all in their early 20’s, are known to police for a spate of shootings in the area.
