NUGFW Wants Negotiations For Health Workers To Begin

The National Union of Government and Federated Workers is calling for negotiations for health workers employed with the five regional health authorities to start.

Today the workers visited the NUGFW’s Henry Street, Port of Spain, Office to highlight their concerns.

NUGFW President, James Lambert, in an interview with the media said the employees are asking negotiations for improved benefits begin as well as issues facing workers on shift are addressed.

Mr Lambert claims the workers can no longer hold strain and out of frustration expressed the need for intervention from the authorities.
