No identity has been determined yet for the decomposing body of a man which was found along Duncan Street, Port of Spain on Thursday 4th January.
Around 4:00pm, residents of the area detected a foul stench from the demolished HDC apartments and went to investigate.
Upon searching the area, they discovered the badly decomposing body of a man.
They subsequently contacted the police paramedics and a team of officers led by Cpl D’Heureux responded and are continuing inquiries.
A post-mortem has been ordered to confirm the cause of death.
