HERMAN DUKHIE, 39, of La Fortune Road, Woodland, appeared virtually before Magistrate Armina Deonarinesingh at the San Fernando Magistrates’ Court Thursday.
He pleaded guilty and was remanded into custody pending tracing.
Dukhie was charged with possession of marijuana for the purpose of trafficking.
He was arrested following the execution of a warrant at his home.
The accused is expected to reappear on August 23rd, 2021.
On Wednesday, around 5am, members of the Southern Division Task Force led by Corporal Bahadur proceeded to La Fortune Road, Woodland.
Based on information received, officers executed a search warrant at a home located in the area, occupied by a man.
The search revealed several marijuana trees on a line being dried.
Officers seized the marijuana amounting to 4.08 kilos and arrested the man.
The man was then conveyed to the San Fernando Police Station, where he was subsequently charged for the offence.
