The Backstreet Boys’ Nick Carter found himself denying major sexual abuse allegations leveled against him by an autistic fan. The woman claims Carter raped her when she was underage in 2001.
“This claim about an incident that supposedly took place more than 20 years ago is not only legally meritless but also entirely untrue,” said Carter’s attorney Michael Holtz.”
“Unfortunately, for several years now, Ms. Ruth has been manipulated into making false allegations about Nick – and those allegations have changed repeatedly and materially over time.
Shannon “Shay” Ruth dropped the bombshell allegations against Carter during a press conference on Thursday when she claimed the now 42-year-old sexually assaulted her when she was just 17 years old.
