The National Tripartite Advisory Council says it members have pledged to assist the Ministry of Health in ensuring the success of its Nation- wide COVID-19 Vaccinations Roll Out Programme.
On Wednesday the decision to provide assistance to the Ministry of Health was taken at a Meeting of NTAC specifically called for this
purpose.
NTAC says it will assist in the provision of voluntary administrative and logistical human resources to quickly implement the National Roll Out initiative.
It will also develop and implement a National Advocacy Programme to give citizens a thorough understanding of the immense benefits of vaccinations.
NTAC says this entails collaboration with the Ministry of Health in ensuring the necessary mechanisms are in place within the shortest
possible time.
It will commence with identification of the cadre of professional, technical and administrative support personnel needed at the various
vaccination locations throughout the Country followed by assignment of volunteers accordingly.
