Today , the National Association of Athletics Administrations will start the 2024 Track and Field Season with the first in a series of Development Meets.
The event takes place at the Hasely Crawford Stadium, Port of Spain at 10am.
The meet is designed to achieve two primary objectives provide local athletes with organized competition so that they can assess where they are in their training regimen and where necessary make adjustments; and provide practical training for aspiring technical officials who recently completed the theoretical part of the Local Certification Course for Technical Officials.
The Schedule of Events includes forty-nine events, with competition in six categories:
Boys and Girls Under 17
Boys and Girls Under 20
Men and Women Open
